Group Spiritual Direction

Service Description

If you and a few friends, team members, or co-workers would like to learn to discern the voice of the Lord together, Group Spiritual Direction is an opportunity to do just that! Roots and Wings offers two formats for group spiritual direction. One is individual-focused; this is for each member to experience personal spiritual direction in a group setting. People can find individual spiritual direction intimidating, but if they enter into group direction with others, they may find more comfort and freedom in the process.  The second format is a discernment-focused group direction. Discernment-focused group direction is suitable for a team or group who wants to discern a particular decision or way forward together. For example, a group of leaders at a church may want to discern the focus of a particular ministry in the future.  Sessions can be scheduled for 1 or 2 hours, or you can see the Group Discernment Retreat option for a 3–4 hour time that will include group discernment and times for reflection and prayer.
